Upstate is based in Brooklyn, New York and makes some of the most beautiful hand dyed textiles made of 100% raw silk. Shibori, a japanese tradition of dying cloth, uses several different methods of binding, folding, or compressing the fabric to create magnificent and one of a kind wearable art.
